Orangeville Music Theatre is excited to announce that it is holding auditions for Annie Jr. and Legally Blonde. Auditions will take place on January 30th and 31st for both productions.
Annie Jr. is a youth production for ages 18 and younger! This Family Favorite will take to the Westside Secondary School stage in May 2015! Annie Jr. is the story of a spunky orphan who is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. This beloved classic features such favourite songs as “It’s The Hard Knock Life”, “Tomorrow” and “Maybe”, Annie Jr. is a fun-filled, high-energy event for the whole family.
Legally Blonde is an adult production, you must be at least 14 years of age to audition. Elle and Bruiser will take to the Opera House Stage in June 2015. Based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical is ridiculously enjoyable from start to finish. Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside-down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting serious about his life and attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington. With the help of Paulette and Emmett, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.
