Drug charges at RIDE program

During the evening hours on Friday January 23rd Shelburne Police were conducting a RIDE program on Owen Sound Street.
Shortly after 9 p.m. a black pick-up truck entered the RIDE spot check that caught the officer’s attention. A roadside investigation was started and resulted in a quantity of marijuana being seized, along with various pieces of drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation 21 year old Joseph Kuhteubl was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance under the federal Controlled Drug and Substance Act. He was released on an appearance notice with a court date in late February.
