Police appeal to public to help identify male

February 25, 2015   ·   0 Comments

In early January Shelburne Police initiated an investigation after responding to a call for a suspicious male and suspicious incident. The incident took place during daytime hours at the Foodland on First Avenue East in Shelburne. Police continue to investigate the situation and are not releasing many details of the incident to maintain the integrity of that investigation. However police are stating that there is no known safety concern for the public. Police are interested in hearing from anyone who recognizes the male in the photos, recognizes the clothing he is wearing, or has any other information about the incident – whether first hand or through the rumor mill. All information received by police will be thoroughly investigated. The Shelburne Police is proud of the relationship it has with the great community it serves and thanks everyone who takes a moment to view these photos. If anyone has any information in relation to this case or any other criminal activity, they are encouraged to contact the Shelburne Police Service at 519 925-3312 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestopperssdm.com
