Title: Missing female found

On April 28, at 4:41 p.m. Dufferin OPP were dispatched to report of missing person in the Island Lake area. OPP currently have deployed their Emergency Response Team and K-9 unit to the area and are conducting a controlled search of the area.
OPP are asking for the public's cooperation to stay clear of the area so they can complete search in a timely manner
Update: At 7:20 p.m OPP Emergency Response Team members located the missing person safe and sound on south shores of Island Lake. She has been taken to hospital as medical precaution to be examined. Island Lake is once again open to the public. Dufferin OPP sincerely appreciates the public's cooperation in this search.
