Soccer Mom secrets are revealed –

June 11, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Josh Oatman makes his directing debut and says, “The game in Secrets of a Soccer Mom is a metaphoric of a mother’s struggle to be herself while raising a family. The classic syndrome that, if she satisfies her own needs, she may damage her kids; verses, if she lets her children dominate, her personality may be erased. There is on ongoing debate between the three mothers on if they should let their kids win or teach them a lesson about competition. Maybe not necessarily on the soccer field, but whether mothers or fathers, we are all familiar with the scenario for which we never really have the answers, so let’s forget philosophizing and enjoy the show!” The curtain goes up June 12 & 13 at 8 p.m. and June 13 & 14 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Caravaggio IDA, Shelburne Town Hall, Holmes Appliances & Music Shop and online at www.tiplingstagecompany.com. Pictured: The cast in order of appearance in the play are: Michelle White who plays Nancy, Jean Jardine Miller playing the part of Lynn and Daphne Rodaway who will be playing the part of Alison.
