On Friday July 24th the Shelburne Police is launching an eight day traffic safety campaign, targeting intersection violations. Officers will be on the lookout for numerous intersection related violations involving motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.
Intersections are a common location for vehicle and pedestrian collisions. As roadways and walkways intersect, everyone must make safety the priority. This means all motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians must pay full attention to operating their vehicles and their surroundings. They must also follow all the traffic laws, signs and signals.
