Shelburne Legion newsPlease note there will not be a breakfast on Aug 2nd. We are now going to be having breakfast on the 2nd Sunday of each month instead of the 1st Sunday. Monday August the 3rd there is Bingo with a jackpot of $1000. We will be kicking off Fiddleville with another Bingo on August the 5th with a $1500 jackpot, play begins at 7 p.m. sharp. Thursday August the 6th will be our Wing Night with The Golden Country Classic's playing in the Museum Room along with a Meat Spin beginning at 7 p.m. Friday August the 7th there will be a breakfast from 8 a.m. until noon. Hot Beef Sandwiches will be available from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. Camp Fire Poets will be performing in the Warriors Hall at 8 p.m. Connie and The Chipwoods Band will be hosting a Old Time Jamboree in the Museum Room at 8 p.m. Saturday August the 8th our breakfast is served from 8 a.m. until noon. There will be a BBQ on William Street from noon until 4 p.m. Roast Beef Dinner will be served from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. Wasted Measures will be entertaining in the Warriors Hall beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday August the 9th we will be serving breakfast from 8 a.m. until noon. The branch will be closed from 2 a.m. until 8 a.m., there will not be 24 hours of food service this year. The Legion wishes everyone a happy and safe Fiddleville. By Lesa Peat |
