Impressed by Shelburne’s community togetherness

Dear editor:
I am Duncan’s cousin from England and attended Natasha’s (Peterson) funeral together with my sister Val.
I would just liked to say how moved I was to witness the togetherness of the Town on this very sad occasion. I was at the visitation and couldn’t believe the amount of visitors that came to pay their respect, many of them total strangers. Everybody was absolutely amazing and I must give special praise to the close family and Natasha’s friends, they were nothing short of amazing. Can I also complement you on the front page story on Natasha. Duncan and Teresa were extremely pleased with it. Duncan and Teresa are in for a very rough ride and I dearly hope they can find some happiness in their lives.
It was my first visit to Shelburne, I so wish it was under different circumstances.
Rob Prestwich,
England
