Title: Theft of election signs is a criminal offence

The OPP is reminding the public that it is a criminal offence to vandalize or remove legally erected election signs. The public is reminded that any person participating in this type of behaviour is subject to being charged with mischief and or theft under the Criminal Code. Should you witness anyone vandalizing or removing legally erected election signs you are asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
