Upcoming events at Cobwebs & CaviarPoppin' Poppies • Friday, Oct. 30 – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This class focuses on two great techniques. Spend part of the day playing with fabric and thread,using water-soluble stabilizer and embroidery hoops to create 3D flowers. Then learn how to make the flowers and piece the strata blocks. The poppies can be made interchangeable so you can replace them with another flower, such as a poinsettia, for a different season. $60 (+tax), plus pattern and fabric Sensational Sunflowers • Saturday, Oct. 31 – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Golden sunflowers stand tall in this lovely wall hanging or purse.
