Shelburne woman charged with theft, possession, fraudOn November 18th Shelburne Police launched an investigation upon receiving reports that stolen DVD's from the Shelburne Giant Tiger were being resold to the MoneyWorks pawn shop in Shelburne. The investigation, which including the review of security video, resulted in the arrest of 24 year old Marie Cormier of Shelburne on November 19th. She was charged with theft under $5000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Fraud Under $5000. The accused was released from the Shelburne Police Station on a promise to appear and undertaking with a court date in December to answer to the charges. |
