Dear editor:
Have you ever made a promise among family or friends to not “do gifts” next holiday season? I have. And every year, someone always caves. Well, this holiday it’s not about what you get, it’s what you give. Soon you’ll be filling your house with family and friends, but please also consider filling an appointment to Give Life.
In Shelburne alone, there are close to 30 donors still needed at our December clinic.
While finding the perfect gift for someone can be challenging, it’s also challenging to fill a blood donor clinic over the holidays. Shelburne, it’s time to Wrap it up Red this holiday season by Giving Life. Please consider donating blood at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex on Wednesday December 23rd between 3:30–6:30 p.m. and help someone in your community who needs blood to survive. There is truly no better gift.
