Rev. Howes is leaving Shelburne

Reverend David Howes of Trinity United Church in Shelburne (left) was presented with a Community Excellence Award by Deputy Mayor Geoff Dunlop a member of the Trinity congregation. As it was Reverend Howes last day at the church, he spent the afternoon with his family and congregation December 20th celebrating his four years as Trinity's minister. Reverend Howes has been an active member of the community participating in the Shelburne Ministerial, pastoral care, The Shepherd's Cupboard Food Bank, and supporting arts and culture in the region. Reverend Howes brought his gift of music to the church as an excellent guitarist and his wife Jennifer, a retired librarian, brought both art and story telling to the community.
