BBQ supports Special Olympics

Geoff Dunlop, spokesperson for Special Olympics, receives a cheque for $1000 the from “The Fines Team” at Shelburne Home Hardware Building Centre last Thursday. The proceeds, raised during the 23rd Annual Yard & Tent Sale and Barbecue held on Victoria Day weekend, were raised by local customers who came out for amazing deals and to support this great cause. New Dealer/Owner Bill Gillam was humbled to have had Jeremy from Orangeville, a Special Olympian, as part of the event. Jeremy, a dual sport athlete who participates in basketball and baseball, wasn't shy and asked to go live on the Chay Radio Remote that the store had on Saturday during the sale to ask local listeners to come on down to the Home Hardware Building Centre in Shelburne. Again a wonderful cause and definitely a home run for “The Fines Team”.
