Shelburne Police thank community for successful ‘Stuff–a–Cruiser’ event

Shelburne Police extends a thank you to the community and all the businesses that contributed to another successful ‘Stuff–a–Cruiser' campaign in December.

On Saturday December 12th and 19th auxiliary officers from Shelburne Police were set up at Foodland, Giant Tiger and No Frills to collect food, toys and cash donations which were distributed to Dufferin Child and Family Services and the Salvation Army.

“The public response was beyond all expectations – thank-you,” said Constable Paul Neumann.

A special thank you is extended to No Frills, Giant Tiger, and Foodland for their promotion and accommodation to this event.

Of particular note is the “Angel Tree Campaign” that Giant Tiger held in their store from November 15th to December 8th. This campaign raised over $2700 of donations toward the event.
