Impaired driver

On January 6, at 5:43 p.m. Dufferin OPP dispatched to a two vehicle collision with a vehicle in ditch on Highway 10 and Monora Park Road in Mono. Police detected an odour of alcohol on male driver’s breath.
The driver provided roadside sample of breath into an approved screening device and registered a fail and arrested for Drive Motor Vehicle over 80 mgs of alcohol. The driver was transported to Dufferin OPP Detachment for breath test.
As a result the investigation, Steven Tyndall 37 years of age of Orangeville, was charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor vehicle over 80 mgs contrary to Criminal Code of Canada. His license was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded. He will appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date to answer to the charges.
