It’s Poppy time. Please come in and sign up. Remember, we all took the same oath when we were initiated “to actively promote the Poppy Campaign.” Remembrance.  It’s What We Stand For.  Every November we pin a poppy to our lapel and then – on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month – take a moment to honour and remember those who served our country.

For that we – and our Veterans – thank you.

On Saturday, October 29, there will be a Sick Children’s benefit in the Warriors (Back) Hall from 12 noon – 4 p.m. Please bring the little ones out in costume to enjoy this day. That same evening is our annual Halloween Bash with DJ Jerry Daniels.

Cost of this event is a financial donation to the 164 Air Cadent Squadron.

There will be a light buffet provided and lots of prizes.

Tickets will be available in the club room for our Remembrance Day Dinner.

Meet and greet at 5 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m. The cost is $15 per person.

This is a semi-formal event and age of majority only.
