Shelburne Legion NewsBy Lesa Peat Welcome back to all the hard working volunteers. Every Monday we have open Euchre at 2 pm and Bingo at 7 pm. Both of these events are open to the public. Our Bingo Jackpot is $1,000. Wednesday evenings darts are in the Warriors Hall. If you are interested in sparing, just come around 7 pm and let Denis or Jeanette know. Thursday evenings is another open evening with euchre, pool and darts available. This Friday the 13th is another RED Friday Wing night featuring entertainment by Drop Tail Gate. There will be two dance areas that night, one for the line dancers and one for those who just want to dance. Wings are served from 6 – 10 p.m. with all ages welcome until 10 pm. On Saturday, January 14, we will be hosting Zone Euchre. We would like to thank everyone for their support with our monthly breakfast. It was a great turnout. The Ladies Auxiliary will be having their monthly luncheon on January 19 with Spaghetti and Meat Balls on the menu. Micah's Kitchen will be available on Wednesday, January 11, with burgers and fries, etc., available. Congratulations to bartender Kyle Fleming for the arrival of his baby girl, born on January 5. Happy Birthday to all you January babies! Our new furnaces will be installed this week with no interruption to the service of our branch. Thank you all for your patience with the old ones. |
