Peewee Wolves are Muskoka Rock champs!

The cheers of the Shelburne Wolves Peewee Rep players, coaches, family and friends echoed from the Port Carling arena on Sunday, January 8, as they defeated the Twin Centre Stars with a dominant 5-1 victory to take The Muskoka Rock Tournament Championship.

This team participated in a three game round robin Friday and Saturday, before heading into the championship game on Sunday.

After the round robin, the Wolves found themselves tied for first place with an impressive 3-0 record.   The final game started off even with a quick back and forth game. But, in the end, Twin Centre just could not compete with the speed and skill of the Wolves.

This team demonstrated teamwork, hustle and heart in every shift and every game.

This team is led by a very dedicated coaching staff that pushes each player to his potential on and off the ice.

Head Coach: Kurtis Cunnington, Assistant Coach: Steve Neidzwiecki, Manager: Nolan Newhook, Trainer: Rudy Pedri and Assistant Trainer: Aaron McGill.

The players are led by Team Captain: Griffin St. Pierre, Alternate:  Tyler O'Neill,  Alternate: Griffin Ladner, Alternate: Nicholas Carson-Pedri, Marcus Carvahlo, Cal Stinson, Mason Way, Colin Sillars, Raeburn Neidzwiecki, Nolan Hopkins, Tyler Higginson, Carter Prins, Jack Moylan, Tucker Cunnington and the amazing netminder  T. J. Wilson-DaPonte.

Good Luck boys as you head into the playoffs.
