Shelburne Legion NewsBy Lesa Peat Friday, February 24, is another Red Friday Wing Night with DJ Rod (Country 105) as our entertainment. Wing nights are open to everyone. We ask that the parents keep the kids from running around the hall. The dance floor is all theirs until 10 p.m. Wings are served from 6 – 10 p.m. This wings are cooked and prepped by volunteers. Most of our wing volunteers are students. This is a great way for them to get job experience and learn team work. If you have a student needing their hours please tell them to contact the branch. Micah's Kitchen will be open on Wednesday evening. Check out his Facebook to see what the menu is. Good luck to all of those participating in the Crokinole tournament on Saturday. Sorry, this event is full. Heritage Music Festival planning is in the works right now. We will make this one bigger and better with lots entertainment throughout the entire weekend. Renovations are still underway with the furnaces. Unfortunately, due to weather, it got put on hold for a week. Our next General Meeting is on Tuesday, March 2, at 8 p.m. |
