Trivia Night wasn’t trivial!

On Friday, March 3, the Shelburne Legion held a Trivia Night that was themed around mobster Al Capone –  and participants went dressed accordingly.

In each round there were eight questions, with the first one being about, you guessed it, the infamous Al Capone. After that, the rest of the questions were a mix of Canadiana, arts and leisure, geography and such.

After ten rounds of multiple choice questions such as; at what age did Al Capone get expelled from school? How many species of frogs are there? What is the biggest Island? Where is the museum dedicated to Al Capone? Who was the faction of law enforcement responsible for his capture? What was he put in jail for? Who is otherwise known as Eileen Edwards?…was I ever glad no one asked me to be on their team!

I just realized I am defiantly not a Capone aficionado and know none of the answers to any of those questions!

The winners were announced and best dressed team went to AJ Cavey’s team, best dressed table went to Philip Norris’ table and top score also went to AJ Cavey’s team.

Congratulations to all who participated. You all looked fabulous!
