Shelburne Legion NewsBy Lesa Peat The first weekend in April is a quiet one at the branch. We will be running under our regular hours. Friday, April 7, is another RED Friday wing night with the Dufferin County Line Band entertaining. Sunday, April 9, we would like to invite all of you to join us at 9 a.m. in front of the Cenotaph at the Town Hall to honor the 100th Anniversary of Vimy Ridge. We will all then head back to the branch for our monthly breakfast. At 2 p.m. there will be an Easter Meat Spin in the upper lounge. On April 20, the Ladies Auxiliary will be having their luncheon from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 pm with a Turkey Dinner and all the trimmings. April 25 is our branch Elections, good luck to all of those that will be running for a position on the executive. The branch will be CLOSED on Friday, April 14. Happy Birthday to all of our April Comrades! |
