Mono resident wins big with Encore

Miroslav Savic of Mono said yes to Encore (March 11, 2017 LOTTO 6/49) and won $100,000.
He matched six of the seven winning numbers on his Encore selection.
“I always add an Encore play to my selection,” shared Miroslav while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he picked up his winnings. “It gives me an extra chance to win for just $1.”
Miroslav is a geologist by profession and he says the day he won was like any other day.
“I stopped at the gas station with no expectations. I paid for my gas and I added a Lotto 6/49 ticket with Encore. A few days later while I was following my daily routine I stopped for gas again and decided to check my numbers.”
Using the ticket checker, Miroslav scanned his ticket.
“I saw the words, ‘Big Winner’ appear on the screen. That’s when my brain froze and the next 10 minutes were euphoric and confusing all at the same time. I immediately asked the retailer to validate my ticket. OLG called the store to confirm my win and I was very happy!”
Plans are underway for Miroslav’s windfall. “I plan to travel around Europe and live the simple life for a while. Winning the lottery feels like a gift,” he concluded.
Encore can be played in conjunction with most online lottery games for an extra $1.
There is an Encore draw every day.
The winning ticket was purchased at Esso on First Street in Orangeville.
