Shelburne Multicultural Day- Saturday, April 21st, 2018, 12:00-3:00pm
This Saturday is Shelburne's first Multicultural Day. You'll be able to experience arts and food from many of the cultures that make up our Town, and experience Story Time on a Saturday! If you'd like to submit a piece of art or an item of food that represents your culture, please email altheacassamento@gmail.com.

Spring Steps
Our Spring Steppers have made great progress—we've walked a collective 2826 km so far. That's right, we've already surpassed our goal! Challenge yourself and your friends to a Spring Step-off. Email jnoble@shelburnelibrary.ca with any questions, to register, or to report your steps.

Archivist on the Road
Laura, Dufferin County's Archivist will be with us till the end of the month. So bring your questions about your ancestors, your property, and any other Dufferin County-related genealogical information. Learn how to use Duff Stuff and be on your way to learning more about your history! Starting in May, Laura will be with us on the third Tuesday of the month and we will have some teaching sessions lined up.

Children`s Programs:
Tuesday, April 24th-- Books and Babies @ 10:00 – 11:00 am will be held as a social group for parents and their young children ages two and below. This is a great chance for your children to play and interact with others their age.
Tuesday, April 25th—PAWS to Read. Mac and Darlene will be at the Library from 3:30-4:30pm. We have a couple of appointments left, so call YOUR Library to sign up.
Wednesday, April 25th--LEGO Club will focus on spring-themed challenges this month. Stop by for a brand new challenge, snacks, Snap Circuits, and much more. We've recently introduced our “Expert Challenge” for our more experienced LEGO builders.
Friday, April 26th– Story Time will begin at 10:30am. Stop by for singing and dancing, crafts, learn about our new books and meet lots of new friends. There will also be many sensory activities for the children to explore.

Teen Scene:
Our Teens have been working diligently on décor and acts to present at our Talent Show, next Tuesday, April 24th. Think of this upcoming event more in the open-mic night style, and if you've got a talent/poem/song to perform, send an email to jnoble@shelburnelibrary.ca, and we will put you on the list of performers. After that, we've got our invite-only White Pine Vote Day, for which two of our dedicated Teens are already invited! Check out our calendars at http://shelburnelibrary.ca/teens.html.

Here's a look at other upcoming events you won't want to miss:
