Title: Stunt driving

On Friday June 21, at 3 p.m. Dufferin OPP were conducting radar enforcement on Dufferin County Rd #17 at 2nd Line in Mulmur Township.

An OPP officer observed a vehicle travelling at high rate of speed. The vehicle was clocked in radar at 141 km in an 80km per hour zone.

The vehicle was pulled over and the 20 year old male driver from Toronto was charged with stunt driving. His driver's license was suspended for 7 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.

He will appear in Orangeville court at a later date.

It is incumbent upon the police and the public to work together to ensure that Canada's roadways are the safest in the world.
