Centre Dufferin New Horizons Club For Seniors – 55 PlusThe club meets at the New Horizions Lounge, 167 Centre St. Shelburne, the last Friday of the month at 7 p.m. for a social get together of Euchre and Crokinole, refreshments will be served after the games. Everyone is welcome. Our weekly activities include: Bridge – Monday & Thursday at l p.m.; Art – Friday at 9:30 a.m.; Bid Euchre – Tuesday at 7 p.m.; Shuffleboard – Tuesday & Thursday. New members are welcome at these activities. There is an upcoming trip to see the Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays on September 28th at the Rogers Centre. There are still some seats available on the bus. Call Bernice Cunningham for more information at 519-925-5700. Congratulations to all participants who represented our club at District 27 Senior Games. Five members are eligible to compete at the South West Regional 55 Plus Games in the London Area in August. Good luck to all! The Horizons Club will be donating two digital cameras and an overhead projector to The Dufferin Oaks for use in the residence. |
