KTH Shelburne Mfg. Inc. celebrates 15th Anniversary by giving back

July 25, 2013   ·   0 Comments

One of the largest employers in Dufferin County, KTH Shelburne celebrated its 15th Anniversary on Saturday July 20th and they celebrated by giving back to their community, honoring their associates, and remembering those who are no longer with them.

For those of us who may be unfamiliar with the company, Assistant Vice President, Tom Cunningham provides an overview. “We make chassis for Honda Canada Manufacturers, Honda Civic and CRV Models,” said Cunningham. “This is a great company. We’ve evolved a lot with the introduction of new models to the North American market place. We have grown substantially. We always try to promote a family type of atmosphere. A number of associates have been with us a very long time and we appreciate that.”

In appreciation of its 430 highly valued associates it’s not surprising KTH made the decision to donate to a hospital all could benefit from, thus supporting their community further, ensuring a bright future.  Headwaters Health Care Foundation’s Commitment to Care Campaign was the proud recipient of a $15,000 donation.

The celebration included face painting, a petting zoo, snow cones, kids jumping balloon, and guided tours of the company which were then open to the public. Amongst all the festivities, the new flag raising, the excitement and general air of pride and well deserved accomplishment, KTH stands apart from most companies as it also unveiled the beautiful Memorial Garden dedicated as a tribute to employees who have passed away but will never be forgotten. This company stands in a league of its own and sets a standard for community appreciation and excellence.
