OPP recovers stolen property

On Tuesday July 16, OPP executed warrants in the Amaranth Township. Police seized 7 weed eaters, 14 stolen rifles and shotguns, two all terrain vehicles, 4 gas powered generators and John Deer tractor. Also seized were several chainsaws and a John Deere Lawn Tractor.  Approximately $100,000 dollars of stolen property has been recovered. Property stolen has been traced to thefts from Dufferin County, Caledon, and Alliston.

One person has been arrested and the hunt is on for other suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
