Break–in at transfer stationOn Thursday, January 23, Grey County OPP received a report of a break-in at the Egremont Transfer Station and Landfill Site located on Southgate Road 10 in the Township of Southgate. Sometime between 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22nd and 6 a.m. on Thursday, January 23rd, unknown suspect(s) breached the fence to the main entrance of the property. The following items were taken: • Approximately 150–200 lbs of scrap copper valued between $450–$600. • 100 piece socket set – 3/4” various bits valued at $100. • Case of engine grease valued at $50. • Cordless Drill – 18V, black valued at $100. Anyone with information which may assist is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
