Title: Drug charges laid in Shelburne

Over a period of several weeks Shelburne Police has been collecting evidence and intelligence in regards to drug trafficking with in the town.  This investigation led to several arrests and charges, as well as a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant being executed at a residence in Shelburne. The search warrant was executed on Friday March 28th. In addition to marijuana, a significant amount of drug paraphernalia and drug trafficking evidence was seized.  

Charges laid include possession of marijuana and trafficking marijuana under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. All the arrested and charged parties in this investigation were local youth. The Youth Criminal Justice Act does not allow the names of the accused persons to be made public.
