Lucas Rogerson performs at Grace Tipling Hall

(L to R) Caleb DeGroot on drums and vocals, Lucas Rogerson, lead vocalist, founding member of Settlers Creek Band, and the youngest also extremely talented band member, Drew Moore on bass and vocals performed at Grace Tipling Hall on September 20th and gave Shelburne an evening performance that was beyond entertaining.

For those who missed out, the Lucas Rogerson performance on Saturday evening at Grace Tipling Hall on Saturday, September 20th, was an absolute success. If you weren’t a fan when you went in, you were definitely a fan when you walked out.
This very unique and extremely talented trio are most certainly destined for fame. “If fame finds us, then great. If it doesn’t, great!” commented Lucas Rogerson and the reason he feels that way can be understood as he introduces every song.
Before every song sung, Rogerson reveals what inspired the fantastic lyrics, how noticing a penny on the floor could spark a tune in his mind, or explaining how a simple happening became an experience. He’s already famous! He has a life he loves and it clearly loves him back as fans feel more like good friends listening to a well loved story accompanied to music that is so engaging and comfortable you can’t help foot tapping along. A real treat, this music can’t fall into a category as it’s combined pop-rock, groovy, country blues is capped with soul.
If you are looking for a great evening out, a relaxed atmosphere, groovy music, then watch for Rogerson’s return in a year’s time and prepare to be entertained because there is something for everyone in this fantastic band’s performance.
