Getting to know the people of Shelburne, running candidate for Town council in Shelburne’s upcoming election, Dan Sample, got personal, inviting Shelburne for a fundraising dinner at Dufferin Oaks. Over a delicious plate of Spaghetti, Sample was able to meet and greet, answer questions and allow people the chance to speak with him candidly about issues of concern to them. “I love to support the community and this is a fun event for all ages to enjoy. I’d like to see more events in Shelburne, ”commented Sample. Ten bags of spaghetti were donated to the Shepherd’s Cupboard, Shelburne’s Food Bank and many volunteers jumped on board to serve and greet as students worked off community service hours. A successful exchange, great dinner, add a face to the name and one might say Dan Sample has a created his very own recipe for running for Town Council.
