The Mudmen are coming!

From handshakes and introductions with the Queen of England to performing the new Anthem at Hockey Night in Canada, the Mudmen Band is without exception one of Canada's best kept secrets and they are coming to Shelburne's Grace Tipling Hall Saturday, October 25th at 8 p.m.
Their career experience is extensive and impressive and includes appearances on the Mckenzie Brothers, HBO's Shameless featured their music, even Don Cherry's has featured their music on videos as well as being on the Coaches Corner Dale Hunter Tribute.
You may well remember a slightly popular band called the Irish Rovers? Yes, that was sarcasm, as Mudmen were special guests of the Irish Rovers on the John McDermott Chieftains Tour. With such an extensive career, one can only wonder as why this band has not gone global and the answer is so simple, it's just a matter of time!
The Canadian music industry is not always as welcoming as the US music industry and often Canadian bands of such caliber, skill and talent are hard pressed to stay home and not take the US carrot dangling in front of them but the Mudmen are proud Canadians and during a candid telephone interview, it's very clear, their patriotic outlook will not change.
“We love what we do, we love being a Canadian band and we're looking for great venues like the Grace Tipling Hall and we're looking forward to coming to Shelburne. We've been on Much Music, we've got 7 CD's, and we've travelled a ton,” commented Robby Campbell adding, “We got our name from being brick layers. When laying brick you always need more mud, and we got the name, mud men from that.”
Interesting, talented, creative, the Mudmen's, pipes, Tin whistle, mandolin and more, can sweep you away, entertain you, and leave you wanting more. And to think, all can be had at Shelburne's very own Grace Tipling Hall on October 25th. Don't miss your chance to catch the Mudmen!
