Remembrance Day services • Shelburne Remembrance Day Services: Please come join us and The Orangeville Community Band on Saturday November the 8th at 7:00pm for our annual Remembrance Day Celebration in honour of those who have served in the Canadian Military. Our mission is to serve Veterans, which include Military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance and to serve our communities and our Country. On Tuesday November 11th we will be starting our service at 10:00am in the Warriors Hall and then at the Cenotaph at 11:00am. Tickets for the dinner are available at the branch for $15.00 each, cocktails begin at 5:00pm and dinner is served at 6:00pm. We would like to thank No Frills, Food Land, IDA, Giant Tiger, Shelburne Home Hardware, Johnnies Pizza, New Orleans Pizza, The Sewing Angel and Cobwebs and Caviar for their generous donations towards our Hallo-Wing night. • Remembrance Day Service The Mansfield Women's Institute has organized a Remembrance Day Service for November 11th at 10:30 a.m. at the Mansfield Cenotaph. The Cenotaph is located just north of Mansfield at park. We wish to send out an invitation to the community to join us as we remember those brave men and women who gave so much to serve our country. Join us after service at St Andrew's Church for refreshments. Guest speaker will be John Franklin talking about WW1 veteran Dalton Ferris. |
