Muskies drop home game to Durham

With the WOAA Senior Leauge moving into the final few weeks of play, the Shelburne Muskies have six more games to get back into the season.
The Muskies lost their Saturday night home game to the Durham Thundercats with a final score of 5–2.
It was Shelburne's first game of the new year.
At 18 games into the season, the Muskies have a 4–14 record.
Over all in the North Division, the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are maintaining their first place standing with 29 points and a 14–4 record.
Close behind in second spot, the Elora Rocks had a 13–6 record - good for 26 points.
The Durham Thundercats are in the number three spot with 26 points after 17 games.
In the South Division, the Tavistock Royals are leading the pack with 28 points and a 13–5 record.
They are followed by the Clinton Radars with 26 points and the Tillsonburg Thunder with 24 points for the season.
The Muskies have had a tough year on the road this season with no wins at away venues so far.
On home ice the Shelburne squad has done much better winning their first three home games then winning number four on December 12, over the Lucknow Lancers.
With a month left in the Senior AA schedule, the Muskies have six games slated for January.
On January 9, they are on the road to take on the Mapleton-Minto 81's.
They return to home ice at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex on Saturday, January 10, to host the visiting Saugeen Shores Winterhawks.
Game time is 8:00 p.m.
