Title: OPP charge two with racing

On Saturday April 4th, OPP were conducting speed enforcement when they encountered two motorists exceeding the speed limit.
The first was southbound Highway 10 at County 10 in the Town of Mono. A 2007 Dodge pickup was clocked at 135 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone. A 27 year old Amaranth Township man was charged with racing.
The second incident was on Hockley Road eastbound when a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was clocked at 105 km/hr in a 50km/hr zone. A 54 year old Georgetown man was charged with racing.
Both drivers had their vehicles and drivers licenses impounded for 7 days. Both will appear in court in Orangeville at a later date.
