Title: Notion Commotion!

 Cobwebs and Caviar, owned by AJ Cavey, hosted a ‘Notion Commotion!' on April 8, with special guest speaker Donna Housley, at her studio on Main Street, Shelburne. A notion is a quilting tool, including rulers, needles or anything to make the job easier. Participants were encouraged to bring their quilting buddies, sit back and enjoy the show while Donna demonstrated 20 notions and spread inspiration galore. Cavey offered door prizes, draws, refreshments, and giggles for a $5 admission price – with all proceeds going to Sauti Moja, a village in Tanzania, towards the development of a community centre and school. Donna will be back at Cobwebs and Caviar on September 30th, this time with a focus on purses and Christmas gift giving ideas.
