The Hobbit is coming to ShelburneL.P. Stage Productions opens a Canadian stage version of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit on Friday April 24th at Grace Tipling Hall in Shelburne. Bilbo Baggins the Hobbit, the Elf King, Gandalf the Wizard and a large supporting cast perform the latest in a great line of shows by the company involving local youth and the creative spirits of Dale Lundy and Alison Port and their choreographer Kristen Gamache. Dale Lundy says he was inspired to produce The Hobbit because of its familiar story and wonderfully mystical quality. Audiences will relate to the challenges and triumphs of the characters, and receive the message that “if you believe in yourself you can make anything happen.” Tickets for all shows will be available at the door or on-line at www.LPStageProductionsInc.com. Evening shows April 24th and 25th start at 8 p.m. Matinées April 25th and 26th start at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $10 – $15 each.
