Dear editor:
Yesterday, (Saturday, August 15th) at the corner of Hwy. 89 and the 10th, our car decided to give out (broken axle). We received assistance from so many of your residents from loaning us their cellphones to make calls, to trying to push our car off the road – to generously helping us get organized in a very stressful situation. Wonderful, warm, generous people, we just wanted to say thanks and that we are grateful for all your help. A shout out to PC Button of the Shelburne Police for all his help.
