Fun at Greenwood Park Two year old Roman Vasilyev is having fun playing on the equipment at Greenwood Park. The park is located on Greenwood Street and has updated equipment geared to toddlers and older children there is also a skateboarding area with ramps and rails as well as a BMX track with many jumps and turns for novice to experienced riders. If you want you can play some hoops at the basketball court or maybe play a game of soccer on one of the pitches. You will find ample parking, washrooms and a few picnic tables and benches if you plan on making a day of it. The Free Press has heard that the missing swings are in the midst of being replaced, however was not able to confirm that with the Town of Shelburne before going to press. Photo by Michelle Janzen |
