Police issue three roadside warnings at weekend RIDEOn August 30, at 9:07 a.m. in Mono Centre, Dufferin OPP officers conducted a RIDE Program which resulted in three, 3-day suspensions for alcohol. A 19 year old male from Caledon, 24 year old male from Orangeville and a 21 year old female from Mulmur were all issued 3-day roadside suspensions for consumption of alcohol. These incidents are of concern for police and patrols will be stepped up focusing specifically on these traffic incidents since drivers are obviously not getting the message. Drivers, who refrain from speeding, following too close, making unsafe lane changes, distracted driving and impaired driving help the police save lives on our roads. |
