Youth charged after dirt bike collides with vehicleOn Friday, September 4, at 3:23 p.m., Grey County OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a dirt bike in Southgate. A 1979, 100 cc Suzuki RM dirt bike was being operated southbound on a trail south of Main Street East in Dundalk. The dirt bike entered the roadway and collided with a 2010 Chevrolet ML1 vehicle which was travelling east bound on Main Street East. The operator of the dirt bike, a 16 year old Dundalk youth, was taken to hospital with a serious injury to his foot. He has been charged with careless driving and driving an off-road vehicle with no licence under the Off Road Vehicles Act (ORVA). |
