October 1, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Primrose United Church presents Rhythmfoot, Frank and Chanda Leahy and family, Sunday, October 4th at 2 p.m. at Grace Tipling Hall in Shelburne. “Rhythmfoot is just that,” say Frank and Chanda, “rhythm through music, dance and soul.” Chanda Leahy operates Chanda’s School of Dance in Orangeville where the family resides and Frank is the drummer in the band Leahy. Chanda says with their “own love of music and dance” it was only natural to pass it down to their six children “who carry on the tradition.” Pictured (left to right, back row) Aliyah age 10 years, Chanda Leahy, Xavier age 12 who plays accordion, fiddle and dances, and Frank Leahy, (front row) Mariah age 7, Savannah 6, Julayna 4 and young Francis 2 years old. The Leahy girls “love to dance, sing, and play the fiddle.” The show will include a guest special performance by local teen fiddler and step dancer Maria Peppler. Tickets are available for $12 each at Holmes Appliances and Music Shop and Caravaggio IDA in Shelburne. For more information contact Gail Brown (519) 925-2397 or email gailbrown.pharm@yahoo.ca
