Title: The Crewson campaign

 Federal Liberal Candidate Ed Crewson took time on his busy campaign schedule recently to include a meeting of the Dufferin Chapter of KAIROS – an ecumenical environmental and social justice organization that includes many different church denominations. The meeting was held at Trinity United Church on Owen Sound Street in Shelburne where Mr. Crewson is pictured with Audrey Pilke of Trinity. KAIROS members report that “Mr. Crewson was asked some key questions from the KAIROS election kit; Canadian Refugee Rights and the causes of murdered and missing aboriginal women were concerns.” Part of Mr. Crewson's response to those concerns was “Canadians deserve an honest government;” he said the government of Canada needed to guarantee refugee rights and the immediate implementation of plans to discover the fates of all missing women and girls.
