Shelburne players win Midget championship Three Shelburne baseball players and their coaches have won the Provincial Midget C championship as members of the Innisfil Cardinals. The team travelled to Belle River, Ontario, a town near Windsor to play in the finals coming out on top with a 4–3 win over Corunna in the championship game. The Shelburne players, shortstop Jacob Hall, pitcher Josh Johnston, and third baseman Jordan Metz, were coached by two Shelburne coaches – Dave Metz and Dave Moran.
