Title: Shelburne players win Midget championship

 Three Shelburne baseball players and their coaches have won the Provincial Midget C championship as members of the Innisfil Cardinals. The team travelled to Belle River, Ontario, a town near Windsor to play in the finals coming out on top with a 4–3 win over Corunna in the championship game. The Shelburne players, shortstop Jacob Hall, pitcher Josh Johnston, and third baseman Jordan Metz, were coached by two Shelburne coaches – Dave Metz and Dave Moran. The team had a good season capped off by this impressive provincial title. Shelburne players, Jacob Hall, Josh Johnston, Jacob Metz, and Shelburne coaches Dave Metz and Dave Moran, celebrate the win.
