Celebrating Shelburne’s Teachers

Dear editor:
Monday October 5 was World Teachers’ Day.
In honour of the great elementary and secondary teachers, we at the Upper Grand District School Board celebrate the great student learning that is fostered by our ETFO and OSSTF colleagues.
Each of us has a story about a memorable teacher. Someone who inspired us to achieve more than we thought we could, listened when we needed someone to talk to, or who made learning fun.
Upper Grand District School Board schools are filled with elementary and secondary teachers who have an extraordinary impact on students.
I am very appreciative of our kind and caring teachers, and am grateful for their dedication to students’ learning.
