Art touches the spirit in many ways

‘Spirit Touches Art, Art Touches Spirit’ guests enjoying art and artists at the inaugural event last year. The event returns this weekend from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, October 17th at Trinity United Church 200 Owen Sound Street in Shelburne. Art and stage performances free to all. The church will open its doors to the community to celebrate its presence as Dufferin County’s finest Music Hall and Visual Arts Gallery, welcoming the community to explore the artists in live performances and tour the varied in-house Art Galleries. Light lunch and snacks available for purchase. Schedule for Performances Upstairs: 10–10:30 a.m. Shelburne Fiddlers and Friends; 10:30 a.m. Dick Byford, Story telling; 10:45 a.m. Forever Young, Women’s Ensemble; 11 a.m. Jen Smele, Choir, Paul and Alex Boon; 11:45 a.m. Darcey Baker, fiddler, dancer, singer; Noon Candescence, Quartet; 12:45 p.m. Gary Heaslip, guitar and soloist; 1 p.m. Ian & Ingrid plus Michel Marcoux; 1:15 p.m. Jennifer Johnson, Story Telling; 1:30 p.m. Joe and Liz Allingham, piano and soloists; 1:45 p.m. Catherine Carpenko, Dancer.
