Kids – learn to sketch!

Sunday October 18th book for the “Kids Only Sketching Workshop” with Mono Artist Gail Prussky at Dufferin County Museum and Archives. Sit down with artist Gail Prussky and learn the basic techniques of sketching and shading. Create a 5-footed monster or draw a princess locked in a tower made of jelly donuts. When you have completed your masterpiece, it will be added to the DCMA Silo Gallery! The increasingly well known artist, beloved for her wicked sense of satirical humour, will present her art show Raised in Captivity opening November 1st in the Silo Gallery. October 18th workshops for kids run: 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.; suitable for ages 8 to 12 years. Cost: $10 Note: Limited space available, registration required in advance by calling 1-877-941-7787.
