Cobwebs & CaviarJoni Newman is back...with 3 great new classes: Thursday, Oct. 22 – 6:30–9:30 p.m. Want to learn a great new technique with Joni Newman? Make this fresh and classic pieced runner with the gorgeous effects and glitz of Shiva paintsticks. Learn how to stencil and create rubbings with these fun, easy to use paints. Bring a few extra black squares to play with other leaf shapes. $40 (+tax), plus pattern and fabric. Friday, October 30th 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This class focuses on two great techniques. Spend part of the day playing with fabric and thread, using water-soluble stabilizer and embroidery hoops to create 3D flowers; then learn how to make the flowers and piece the strata blocks. The poppies can be made interchangeable so you can replace them with another flower, such as a poinsettia, for a different season! $60 (+tax), plus pattern and fabric. |
